Buy an Ad

So you want to place an ad on onebillionviews.com page?

This is how the ad system works:

  • You get the right for your image and link to appear on www.onebillionviews.com.
  • Your ad will remain on www.onebillionviews.com for a minimum of 5 years.
  • You are purchasing a standard 50 x 50 pixel ad.
  • As an added bonus, your ad will appear in the 200 x 200 pixel ad spot on at the top of the ad section of www.onebillionviews.com. The ad that was previously in the center spot will move either left or right, one spot under the top ad into one of the 100×50 pixel spots. Eventually older ads will move into the 50×50 pixel spots lower in the ad section on the same page, where they will remain for the lifetime of this websites. This ensures your ad gets maximum exposure for the entire lifetime of this website.
  • Whenever someone purchases an ad, the ad price increments by $1 US. This ensures that all ads get maximum exposure.
  • As an added bonus, your link and alt/title will also appear in the Ad-history section. That is an extra link from www.onebillionviews.com to you!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • You are purchasing a 50 x 50 pixel ad space on the main page which will stay there for the lifetime of the website (minimum 5 years).
  • When you 'buy' an ad space you will not 'own' any part of the homepage or this site, but rather you are granted the right to submit an image and link which will then be published on the homepage and stay there for the lifetime of the website (minimum 5 years).
  • If your image and link are accepted and published on the homepage, you cannot get a refund
  • The website lifetime is at least 5 years, with plans for a lot longer.
  • Websites of pornographic, violent or otherwise deemed of offensive nature will not be accepted. If you pay for an ad for a website of such nature, your website will not be advertized and your money will be refunded.
  • If for whatever reason in the future you want your image and link removed from the homepage, you can do that, but you will not get a refund and the space will become publicly available again
  • Images must be in GIF or JPEG format, and a reasonable file size
  • Images must not be animated! Think of how ugly the page would look!
  • Links must be to web pages only and begin with http://
  • You must have the authority to provide the image and link for the website you submit
  • Funds must be fully recieved and cleared before your ad goes live on the homepage
  • There might be occasional downtime for site maintenence but I'll try and keep these to a minimum
  • Once you have ordered and the funds have cleared (ie. in my PayPal account), I will aim to get your ad online within 24-48hrs

Thats about it, now youre ready to pay for your ad space. I accept payment via PayPal. I believe it provides you, the paying ad placer, with the utmost security, and is easy and hassle free to use. Once you have paid for your ad space please email sales at onebillionviews dot com and provide the following:

  1. Your gif or jpg images (please make sure you adhere to the rules above). You will need to provide the same image in three sizes (200 x 200, 100 x 50 and 50 x 50 pixels) as explained above for best exposure for your ad.
  2. State which website you would like your graphic linking to (must begin with 'http://')
  3. State what TITLE/ALT text you want for your image, max. 50 characters. TITLE/ALT text appears when people hover their cursor over your image.
